Bristol City Council is offering the opportunity for voluntary, community and third sector organisations to lease Southmead Adventure Playground through Community Asset Transfer.

This event is an information session for potentially interested organisations.

Bristol City Council are looking for a tenant who will take on the management of this facility to develop it into a flourishing venue that will benefit and engage the local community. There is a requirement that the successful tenant will deliver three open access play sessions per week for local children aged 6 to 10.

If your organisation has an imaginative proposal and is interested in taking over the running of this adventure playground you’ll need to show that your proposals can secure a longer-term future and work alongside the local community.

Full details of the property and the eligibility criteria for the future tenant are set out in a brief, which may be downloaded from Bristol City Council's website:

Bristol City Council welcome expressions of interest from voluntary, community and other third sector organisations who would have the expertise to manage this facility and make it available for the wider community to use.

Any expression of interest will need to be received by Monday 9th July 2018. Details are within the brief.
