The Children and Families Partnership Board is a high-level strategic body focused on the planning, commissioning and delivery of services that promote the health and well-being of children and families in Bristol and safeguard the vulnerable. It is a partnership board that aims to ensure that strategy development and commissioning activity is approached jointly in order to assure delivery of the best possible outcomes for children and young people in the city. The Board recognises the wide benefits of early intervention and prevention and prioritises the promotion of this approach across the partnership. |
Bristol Safeguarding Children Board |
The main function of Bristol Safeguarding Children Board is to co-ordinate and lead work on child protection within Bristol. It is made up of organisations and people working together to promote children's welfare and keep them safe. |
Participation Group - Children

The group will be an advocate and force for children, young people and parent / carers voice in Bristol.

SEND Group - Children and Families

The Bristol SEND Group is a sub-group of the Bristol Children and Families Partnership Board focused on improving outcomes for children and young people and their families with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). |
Think Family Group - Children and

The group will aim to provide strategic direction for Think Family, including Troubled Families funded work and Schools Forum investment, scrutiny of impact / performance management /efficient use of resources, operational problem solving and promoting integration, and a growing evidence base for high quality, whole family working. |
Joint Health Outcomes Group -

The Bristol Joint Health Outcomes (JHO) Group focuses on ensuring an integrated approach to promoting and maintaining positive physical and emotional health and wellbeing of children, young people and families in Bristol. The work of the JHO group will focus on joint work across agencies to deliver the priorities set out in the Bristol Strategy for Children, Young People and Families, and elements of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy as they relate to children and young people. A cross-cutting theme will be addressing Child Poverty and Inequality, which will include promoting health in vulnerable groups, in particular, Looked After Children and Care Leavers. |
Health and Wellbeing Board

The core purpose of the Health and Wellbeing Board is to join-up commissioning across the NHS, social care, public health and other services that the board agrees are related to health and wellbeing. The elected Mayor has also determined that relevant key decisions will be taken at this Board. |
Safer Bristol Partnership

The Safer Bristol Partnership aims to improve the quality of life for all who live in, work in or visit Bristol by reducing crime, the fear of crime, anti-social behaviour and substance misuse. |
Avon and Somerset Reducing
|
The main function is to provide oversight and coordination of reducing (re)offending work across Avon and Somerset, including through the development and implementation of a Reducing (Re)offending Strategy. |
Restorative Bristol Board

Restorative Bristol’s vision is a city where individuals, agencies, and services see restorative approaches as the first option for dealing with conflict. Restorative Bristol has been set up to continue to ‘promote and support all sectors, communities and the public to embrace a restorative culture where our response to dealing with initial conflict, wrongdoing or harm, puts the wishes and needs of the person (s) harmed (victim) at the heart of any restorative approach, community resolution or restorative justice activity’ |
Learning City Partnership Board

The Partnership Board aims to champion learning for all ages and all communities, commission activity to increase participation and achievement, communicate messages about learning and celebrate the benefits of learning as a way to transform lives. The Partnership Board provides a framework to: connect planning, decision-making and resources; engage citizens, educators and employers; and communicate with learners, organisations and stakeholders.

The Bristol Safeguarding Adults Board’s role is to assure itself that local safeguarding arrangements and partners act to help and protect vulnerable adults and to oversee and lead adult safeguarding in its area. |
