The Volunteer Organisers' Forum is used to promote and share best practice for those managing or coordinating volunteers.  We currently meet quarterly to discuss a variety of issues relevant to volunteering such as volunteer recruitment, employability, DBS checks, volunteer retention, thank you events, welfare reform impacts, volunteers and the law amongst others.

The session will cover:

  • Young People and Volunteering: Barriers and Soluntions
  • Briefing and a peer support session - Alex Green - Bristol Youth Links (1625 Independamt People/Learning Partnership West)
  • Engaging Youth Volunteers via National Citizen Service

 

The Volunteer Organisers’ Forum is a free event for Voscur members, £15 for non-members. For more information on membership, click here.
