Charities and not-for-profit organisations in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath, North East Somerset, and North Somerset can apply for grants of up to £30,000 to support projects that help older people live fulfilling lives. The St Monica Trust's Volunteering and Employment for Older People Fund aims to promote positive perceptions of ageing and enhance the employability and volunteer opportunities available to older individuals in the community. The fund offers grants to initiatives that challenge stereotypes, encourage older adults to participate in both paid and unpaid work, foster community integration, and support healthy, meaningful ageing. The fund covers both core and delivery costs. The deadline for expressions of interest is 12pm on the 1st November 2024.
