The team is seeking to appoint three fixed term Community Researchers to partner with academics at Bath Spa to co-produce disability research. The research will be responding to three themes (outlined in the attachment).
We would like each group to create a small-scale project which responds to one of the three themes:
Each group will be allocated a budget to produce this project such as a small event, a video or an artwork, etc. These outputs must either raise awareness or influence change within your community.
Each group will be supported by a research mentor, the project manager, a working group, and the wider team during the project.
About You
You will be passionate about disability equality. You will have significant lived experience through being disabled or being a parent/carer, ally or support worker of someone with special educational needs or a disability. You will be well organised and able to manage your own time, as well as work well in a small team. In addition, you will also be computer literate, have some experience of working with a budget and on small projects (or have had the support to do so).
