Bristol Pride festival runs on the power of volunteers – without your invaluable support, we simply couldn’t do it.
Our Access Champions are here to support disabled people to fully enjoy Bristol Pride. They do this by supporting a number of functions across the site such as our viewing platforms and access routes, our accessible gate and being positioned around the site as a point of contact for anyone who might have questions or need support.
You will be part of a team of people providing support to those who need it and will be supported by our Coordinator who is responsible for accessibility on site. Ahead of Pride Day, you will be invited to a briefing and we will organise who will be positioned where and at what time.
If you have access needs yourself, please let us know so that we can find a role that meets your needs. Please note that Bristol Pride is a busy, loud event with a lot of people.
What we offer:
We'd love to hear from QTIPOC people and those with experience of social & community spaces and/or working at large scale events.
