Voluntary and community organisations can now apply for grants of up to £20,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund – Awards for All programme. This represents a significant increase from the previous maximum grant size of £10,000. Projects can last for up to two years. The funding boost is intended to support organisations in delivering new or existing community led activities. Eligible projects must address at least one of the following: help communities connect, improve their environment, provide early support for individuals and assist those facing financial difficulties. The application deadline is 16 weeks before you want to start your activities or spend any of the money.
