Details of Role: 

The purpose of the role is to work collaboratively with the staff and volunteers of the Welcome Centre Team to provide a safe and warm welcoming space to our members (asylum seekers and refugees) while delivering vital frontline support in the welcome centre in a trauma informed way.

You'll work closely with the Welcome Centre and Operations Lead and the Welcome and Members Participation Officer to develop strategies that support our members and tackle challenges such as food insecurity and health and wellbeing.

This is an incredibly exciting time to join the Welcome Centre team, as you’ll be starting alongside a new Welcome Centre and Operations Lead. You’ll have the unique opportunity to evolve the Welcome Centre and really put your own stamp on its operations and future direction informed by member’ and the sector’s needs and strategy.
