As a Sessional Worker at Jamie’s Farm Monmouth, you’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of young people who need support. By guiding small groups through daily farm tasks—such as feeding animals, woodwork, and cooking—you will help them build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and experience the satisfaction of real, hands-on achievements.
You’ll be part of a dedicated team, all working together to ensure each young person gets the most out of their time on the farm. Your role will include planning and leading engaging sessions, taking responsibility for specific activities, and contributing to the farm’s daily routines, such as feeding rounds, meal preparation, and evening activities.
Our farm provides a peaceful, rural environment nestled in the Wye Valley, far from the pressures of city life. Here, you’ll be part of a transformative experience for young people, offering them the chance to step outside of their usual environments and discover their potential. Whether through farm maintenance, cooking, or leading walks, you’ll help make their time at Jamie’s Farm an unforgettable and impactful experience.
At Jamie’s Farm, we believe in supporting the growth of not only the young people we serve but also our staff. We offer regular training and therapeutic supervision, ensuring you are equipped to thrive in your role. If you are passionate about working with young people and eager to make a lasting impact, we encourage you to apply.
