Role Overview:
As a Volunteer Event Assistant, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing a variety of events designed to raise funds and awareness for our cause. This role offers a unique opportunity to channel your creativity and organisational skills while gaining valuable experience in event management.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning: Assist in the development and planning of fundraising and awareness events, including brainstorming ideas, creating timelines, and coordinating logistics.
Event Management: Support the execution of events, ensuring everything runs smoothly. This may involve setting up venues, managing guest lists, and overseeing on-the-day operations.
Coordination: Collaborate with our team and other volunteers to ensure all aspects of the event are covered, from pre-event preparation to post-event follow-up.
Outreach: Engage with potential sponsors, vendors, and participants to build relationships and secure support for our events.
Creative Input: Contribute to event themes, promotional materials, and marketing strategies to maximise impact and reach.
