This summer the RWA Art Gallery is thrilled to announce a triple bill of exhibitions honouring global majority artists, exploring ideas of British identity, belonging and migration.
From 25 May to 11 August 2024, works by pioneering artist, curator and activist Rasheed Araeen will be situated alongside ten portraits celebrating men and women of the Windrush Generation from the Royal Collection Trust and a new installation of works by writer and artist Valda Jackson MBE RWA.
We are opening our doors to volunteers who want to be part of sharing these amazing stories with our community. There are opportunities to spend time with the artworks and visitors, lead guided tours based on your own research and passions, and actively engage in making the exhibitions more accessible.
