This event brings together policy makers, practitioners, activists, and researchers to discuss direct experiences of precarious housing arrangements in Bristol, how these arrangements can be explained through social, economic, and political forces which often emerge beyond the realm of local authorities at the national and global scale, and finally, how they can be tackled going forward.

A conference promoting Gender in the Early Years: Ideas into Action. Hosted by Bristol Men in Early Years (BMIEY) Networkin partnership with Bristol Learning Cities.

Early Years Educators, Professionals, Academics, Students, Policy Makers and all with an interest in challenging both gender imbalance and stereotypes are invited to take part and engage on the day.

Another England: Mapping 100 Years of Our Black and Asian Heritage, aims to explore the ways in which Black and Asian heritage has been integral to England’s identity. We want to document the spaces and places that have played a vital role in the lives of Black and Asian people across the country.

The event will now begin with a networking lunch at 1pm.
