Join this free full day event on International Day of Older People to be better prepared to guide people through later life matters when giving money help

When we are giving money help to others later life issues are often the last thing on our minds. We often have to help people with more immediate problems like getting a roof over their head, avoiding eviction, getting food on the table or working out how to pay a growing pile of bills.

But some people, whether older or not, need help today on later life issues. We also know from our own experience giving money guidance to people on low incomes that a change in circumstances, like paying for a funeral, can plunge a family into debt. Helping people to be better prepared today can help them a lot when challenges arrive tomorrow.

We can also be better prepared to guide others when we know that we have made our own plans for the future, so all the content will be applicable to those of us who help others with money issues too. When you have attended our event you will be better prepared to give help, guidance and signposting to people faced with or preparing for later life issues.
