Ujima 98 FM - a new community radio station
Ujima 98 FM *is a not-for-profit radio station run by local people, mostly volunteers, which enables the community to use the medium of radio to create new opportunities for regeneration, employment,
learning, social cohesion and inclusion, as well as cultural and creative expression.
The station will feature local voices and aims to inform, represent, educate, entertain, and celebrate culture, heritage and diversity within Bristol. In particular it welcomes contributions from the African and Caribbean communities living in the St Paul's and Easton areas of Bristol, who are currently under-represented within mainstream broadcasting.
This station will broadcast on 98 FM to the whole of Bristol and via the internet to the rest of the world.
