Bristol City Council is introducing new forms of Neighbourhood Governance across the city where local people can have more say in influencing decisions. The new local governance structure will be called Neighbourhood Partnerships.

Bristol City Council hope to establish Neighbourhood Partnerships across all areas of Bristol by the end of 2008. Launch events will be held for each Neighbourhood Partnership. Details of Neighbourhood partnership events will be advertised here.

Neighbourhood Partnership Residents Forum

Voscur is coordinating a new Neighbourhood Partnership Residents' Forum. The forum is a meeting for residents involved with their local Neighbourhood Partnerships.

Each NP Residents Forum will concentrate on a particular theme affecting local neighbourhoods (for example crime, housing or the environment) and will give participants the opportunity to hear from different parts of the city what is being done to address those issues and to share their own ideas or solutions.

The first meeting took place on Thursday 24 July, 6pm at the Council House, College Green.

Neighbourhood Partnership e-forum

Voscur have launched a new Neighbourhood Partnership e-forum to give you an opportunity to share views and ideas with people from the 14 other Neighbourhood Partnerships across Bristol. You can use the forum to share your own ideas and solutions or just tell people what you and others are doing to address issues in your part of Bristol.
